Designed with a 14 megapixel CCD sensor, the Pentax Efina is the ideal camera to capture special moments with rich detail and true colours. The camera can record videos in HD as well as VGA at up to 30 fps. The electronic movie shake reduction feature reduces the shakes while recording to provide a steady clip.
Crafted with a metallic body, the Efina is extremely compact making it easy to carry with you wherever you go. The device features a 5x optical zoom and a 2.5 inch LCD screen with 230,000 dots.
With maximum shutter speed of 1/1400 sec and a minimum shutter speed of 1/8 sec clubbed with an ISO range of 80 to 1600, this camera ensures perfect pictures in varying lighting conditions. It has an aperture range of f3.5 to f15 and can take up to 3 shots per second. This device also features Face Detection and High ISO modes.
With a built-in flash, the Efina makes it convenient to shoot in low light situations. The flash modes offered are auto, flash off, red-eye preflash and flash on.
The Pentax camera comes with an internal storage space of 32 MB which can further be expanded using an SD or SDHC memory card to store pictures and videos you capture. It is also compatible with eye-fi SD cards.
Pictures can be transferred from the camera to your computer using the hi-speed USB 2.0 option provided. The built-in Wi-Fi antenna can also be made use of to transfer images.
The Efina is powered by a Lithium-ion battery and also features an in-body battery recharge system as well.
